It seems like 2007 is just flying by! We’ve been busy here sorting out inventory, picking shows for the upcoming season and filling orders. Even though we’ve been busy we’ve definitely noticed that winter is officially here! We’ve been slathering on the whipped body butter like it’s going out of style! (but thankfully it’s not!) Dear Friends,

I would like to cover our re-opening date first, and then the changes we will undergo at that time.  I had anticipated to open on January 15th.  Now I feel I need to change the date to an “unknown” status.  I have to concentrate on getting the last of the sale orders finished.  These patient folks have been waiting a very long time.  So I will keep you posted with notes on the website of when we have opened, instead of generating another formal newsletter.

The second big announcement is the customization process has outgrown our ability for a fair and decent turnaround time.  We have been operating as a custom shop since our inception over 2 years ago.  Each order was made to your specifications from scratch.  Now it seems this has become more problematic with turnaround, because of the growth and higher volume of orders that we have been blessed with.  To better serve you, I am transitioning the business over to an inventory based style.  I am going to take the best selling products and scents and make those available in the quantities we have premade in our workshop.  When it sells out, the item will no longer be available until we can replenish stock.  This does not mean our quality or formulations have changed in any way. But this should alleviate the wait times previously experienced.  The system is going to have it’s fair share of fine tuning in the months ahead.  But I feel the end result will be happier customers.  The last 2 large sales we had were also factors in this decision making process.

I will also need to do some website maintenance before re-opening, because I have not been able to dedicate any time to updates and general housekeeping on the site.
